Dani Klupenger is a reporter for both NFL and college football, college basketball and professional tennis. She is a men’s college basketball analyst covering primarily the WCC and Mountain West Conference for Stadium Network. She is also a studio host for Tennis Channel.
Dani was previously a host and NFL reporter for FanDuel’s nationally televised “More Ways to Win” sports gambling and fantasy football show. She recently covered the Seattle Seahawks for NBC Sports Northwest and was previously the team reporter for the Los Angeles Rams, NFL sideline reporter for CBS-LA and co-hosted “What The Hekk” on ESPN Los Angeles radio.
A former Division-1 basketball player, Klupenger also has contributed as an analyst and reporter for various other networks such as the SEC Network and ESPN3.
Klupenger is also a sneakerhead and has hosted a variety of events and shoe launches for Nike and Adidas.
In her role with the Rams, Dani was the preseason sideline reporter for the broadcasts airing on NFL Network, CBS-LA and Fox Sports Midwest. She served as the host of “Rams Nation,” a weekly magazine television show that provides an inside look at the Rams, seen on CBS-LA, ABC-LA, Fox Sports West and Fox Sports Midwest. Additionally, she served as a host of the “What the Hekk” radio show featuring Rams Pro Bowl punter Johnny Hekker, on ESPN-LA radio and as a weekly guest on the ESPN-LA pregame show alongside Kirk Morrison, Eric Davis and Steve Mason.
Dani has worked alongside veteran analysts and reporters such as Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, Andrew Siciliano, Daniel Jeremiah, Jay Mohr and Rob Fukuzaki. Recently, Dani has partnered with Adidas in hosting various shoe launches across the Los Angeles area. At those events, she has conducted interviews with stars like Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and Antonio Pierce.
In addition to reporting, Dani also edited and produced content for the Rams used across all social media platforms and television shows.
Klupenger joined the Rams after spending nearly two years as a reporter and producer for the University of Tennessee department of athletics. With the Tennessee Volunteers, Klupenger hosted, produced and shot hundreds of feature stories for 20 sports teams, including football, basketball, baseball and softball. She also worked as a sideline reporter, color analyst and feature reporter for the SEC Network during her time in Knoxville.
Prior to landing with the Vols, Klupenger was a standout basketball player at Stony Brook University in New York for four seasons. As an undergraduate, she worked as a host and producer for the Stony Brook athletics department, interned with KATU-TV, the local ABC affiliate, and as an intern for “News at Noon” with WUSB 90.1 FM. Deciding on what to major in was simple: she loved getting to know more about people and she loved television- so she chose a career of interviewing people on television.
Klupenger grew up just thirty minutes out of downtown Portland, Ore. on a third-generation, 300-acre nursery that her family owns. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
